World cup :The only team to follow in the world cup in South Africa this year is New Zealand (since Ireland didnt make the finals) and our recommended home away from home is shebeen chic on South Great Georges St http://www.shebeenchic.ie/

There you will find Jeremy (a Dublin based kiwi) behind the bar. According to Jeremy, Shebeen is going to be playing all of the 2010 world cup matches on a huge screen in the downstairs venue.
There will be NO charge to come and watch the games, their aim is simply to further boost their reputation as being a great spot for non irish folk living in Dublin to meet others.

There will be drinks promotions(kiwi/Ausi bottle beers), food that all Kiwis and aussies love (bbq, fish n chips etc) and Jeremy is also trying to track down either dj's from New Zealand/Aussie or bands that may be here during the world cup month.
