New Zealand Ireland Association

Avondale Cricket Club based in Rathdrum, Co Wicklow (they share the facilities of the Rathdrum Rugby Club) are looking for new members.

In 2007 they entered a team into the Junior A grade of the Leinster Cricket League and won the title, as a result this year they have been promoted 2 grades and have decided to enter a second team into the competition as well.

Players from New Zealand / Australia / South Africa significantly outnumber the natives in the team and they are attempting to try and build the numbers (especially younger people) at a local level. They are an extremely friendly bunch and would love to get some more Cricket Enthusiasts playing for the club.
